Suzanne Tyler serves as Chief Executive Officer of the Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce, where she leads the organization's mission to support local businesses and strengthen the economic vitality of Warrensburg and Warren County. With deep roots in the community and an unwavering commitment to small business development, Suzanne has become a driving force in the region's economic growth and community engagement.
As CEO, Suzanne oversees all aspects of the Chamber's operations, including membership services, business development initiatives, community partnerships, and municipal coordination. Her leadership has been instrumental in expanding the Chamber's reach and impact throughout the North Country region.
Among her most notable achievements is her stewardship of the World's Largest Garage Sale, an annual October event that has grown under her leadership to become one of the premier attractions in the Adirondacks. Under her leadership for the last 10 years, the event draws over 100,000 visitors to Warren County each year, generating significant economic impact for local businesses and showcasing Warrensburg as a destination for visitors from across the Northeast and beyond. Suzanne manages every aspect of this complex, large-scale event, from vendor coordination and municipal partnerships to logistics and community outreach.
Suzanne's expertise spans nonprofit management, event planning and logistics, economic development, and community relations. She works closely with local business owners, municipal officials, and community organizations to create opportunities for growth and collaboration. Her hands-on approach and deep knowledge of the local business landscape make her an invaluable resource for both established businesses and new entrepreneurs considering Warrensburg as their home.
Suzanne has called Warrensburg home for over 15 years, where she and her husband are raising their two children. Her family enjoys all the natural amenities the Adirondacks has to offer, from outdoor recreation to the close-knit community spirit that defines the region.
Beyond her work with the Chamber, Suzanne is deeply committed to community service and sits on several nonprofit boards, offering her expertise and leadership. She serves as Treasurer of the Small Tales Day Care Board, is a member of the Warrensburg Student Enrichment Fund Board, serves as Secretary of the Town of Warrensburg Planning Board, and chairs the Warrensburg Economic Development Coalition. She also volunteers at the Warrensburg Museum of History, helping to preserve and share the rich heritage of the community she loves.
With over 15 years of deep roots in the community, Suzanne's intimate knowledge of the area and dedication to fostering a thriving business environment have established her as a trusted advocate for Warrensburg and Warren County.
