The Town of Warrensburg has received funding to help eligible residents replace aging mobile and manufactured homes through the Manufactured and Mobile Home Replacement Program. This program helps residents replace aging or unsafe mobile and manufactured homes, improving housing quality and neighborhood stability in our community.
The program is administered by Flatley Read, Inc. and provides assistance through a deferred payment loan.
The funding is structured so that homeowners do not have to repay the loan as long as they remain in the home for 10 years after the project is completed.
A Declaration of Interest will be filed with the Warren County Clerk for the 10-year period. If the property is sold during that time, the amount owed decreases monthly until the term is complete.
Applicants must:
Own and occupy the property
Have the deed to the land
Live within the Town of Warrensburg
Use the property solely as a residence
Be current on property and school taxes
Meet income eligibility guidelines
Funding is limited, and applications are typically reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Applicants will need to provide supporting documents, including:
W-2 forms for employed household members
Most recent Federal Tax Return (Form 1040)
Social Security, Disability, or Veterans benefit letters (if applicable)
Two months of bank statements
Unemployment statements (if applicable)
Mortgage statement or proof mortgage is satisfied
Proof property and school taxes are current
Homeowner’s insurance declaration page
Property deed
