
Looking for an affordable, family-friendly way to spend a summer Saturday? Mark your calendar for the Warren County Youth Fair, returning on Saturday, August 1, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Warren County Training Center, 377 Schroon River Road in Warrensburg.
Hosted by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Warren County, this annual event celebrates youth, agriculture, outdoor recreation, and hands-on learning with FREE admission and FREE parking.
The Warren County Youth Fair offers something for every member of the family. Children can meet a variety of farm animals, explore educational exhibits, participate in games, and discover new hobbies through interactive demonstrations and activities.
This year's highlights include:
Live reptile show presented by Uncharted Wild
Bushcraft and survival skills demonstration from a former contestant on the History Channel's Alone
Farm animals including alpacas, cows, goats, chickens, quail, and rabbits
Face painting
Archery
Fly fishing demonstrations
Hula hoop and bubblegum blowing contests
Gardening crafts and scavenger hunt
Community exhibits and environmental education
Youth artwork displays
Basket raffle
Snack Shack with affordable food and refreshments

These organizations will offer educational displays, demonstrations, and activities designed to inspire curiosity and encourage stewardship of the Adirondack region.
The Warren County Youth Fair is more than a day of fun—it's an opportunity for young people to showcase their talents, develop leadership skills, and discover programs available through Cornell Cooperative Extension's nationally recognized 4-H Youth Development Program.
Many local youth also gain valuable work experience by helping operate the fair, learning responsibility, teamwork, and customer service while contributing to the event's success.
