Warrensburg to Mark 25th Anniversary of 9/11 with Community Dinner and Evening Ceremony

On Friday, September 11, 2026, the Warrensburg community will come together to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of September 11, 2001 through an evening of remembrance, reflection, and community fellowship.

The day will begin with a free Community Dinner at 5:00 p.m. in the Hudson & Main parking lot, 3873 Main Street, followed by the Warrensburg Fire Department's 25th Anniversary 9/11 Ceremony at 7:00 p.m. at the Warrensburg Bandstand.

This milestone anniversary marks a quarter-century since the events of September 11, 2001, and provides an opportunity for residents, visitors, first responders, veterans, and families to gather in remembrance of those who lost their lives and to honor the courage and sacrifice demonstrated in the days, months, and years that followed.

Community Dinner – 5:00 p.m.

Before the ceremony, community members are invited to share a meal together at the Hudson & Main parking lot. The dinner is free to the community while supplies last and reflects the spirit of generosity and neighborliness that defines Warrensburg.

25th Anniversary 9/11 Ceremony – 7:00 p.m.

At 7:00 p.m., the community will gather at the Town of Warrensburg Bandstand for the Warrensburg Fire Department's annual 9/11 remembrance ceremony, marking the 25th anniversary of the attacks.

The ceremony will honor the victims of September 11, recognize the heroism of first responders, and reflect on the resilience, unity, and patriotism that emerged in the aftermath of one of the most significant moments in American history.

As the nation reaches this 25-year milestone, the evening will serve as a reminder of the importance of remembering those who were lost, supporting those who continue to carry the legacy of service, and passing the lessons of unity and sacrifice to future generations.
