JOIN IN THE CELEBRATION OF THIS ONE OF A KIND ASTRONOMICAL EVENT!
Celebrate the eclipse on Gore Mountain’s sun deck with live music, and giveaways! Pink Floyd’s ‘Dark Side of the Moon’ album will play as the astrological event occurs.
$40 skiing and snowboarding lift tickets will be available, and can be purchased online.
Eclipse Schedule:
- Partial Eclipse begins at 2:12 pm.
- Totality begins at 3:24 pm.
- Maximum eclipse is at 3:26 pm.
Please note:
- Complimentary safety eclipse glasses will be provided as supplies last. Remember: Looking directly at the eclipse without proper eye protection is never safe. Eclipse glasses are NOT regular sunglasses; no matter how dark, are not safe for viewing the Sun.
- Due to a decrease in light and visibility during this event, we plan to close our ski lifts at 2 pm for the day.
- Our lifts will not be open for foot-passenger scenic skyrides.
