TOYLAND – Family Fun at Emerson Town Hall

Saturday, 10 a.m.–3 p.m.

Enjoy a festive day packed with kid-friendly activities, including visits with Santa (10 a.m.–Noon & 1–3 p.m.), pony rides and a petting zoo (free), face painting, and gingerbread house decorating. Children can join free workshops to make wooden toys, ornaments, and evergreen swags, shop for holiday gifts, and enjoy baked goods and lunch provided by the Girl Scouts.

Indoor Holiday Market & Artisan Fair

Saturday, 10 a.m.–3 p.m. · River Street Plaza (89 River St.)

Shop Adirondack artisan goods, enjoy food samples and spirit tastings, meet author Nanci Vineyard, and find the limited-edition “Holly, Jolly” gourd ornaments. Kids’ crafts, hot cocoa bomb making, candle making, giveaways, community info tables, luncheon offerings, and live seasonal music round out this festive market.

Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

(Saturday, 6 p.m., Floyd Bennett Memorial Bandstand)

Join the community at the Floyd Bennett Memorial Bandstand for tree trimming, holiday music by local students, a welcome and blessing, and festive caroling. Enjoy the arrival of Santa, the lighting of the tree, and hot chocolate and cookies provided by J. Gallup Farm.
